Hi all!
My name is Marcie and this little section is about what to do if you've downloaded one of my horses and you want to upload a foal that you have bred that has come from their bloodline.
Obviously, 99% of my horses are available right on the exchange for anyone to download! I can't, and don't want to, dictate what people can or can't do with my kids once in-game but I think uploading is a little different.
There are many wonderful stables that specialize in breeding their horses at a specific time every month and then only give that foal out to one person. Which is awesome! I've received some great foals from this way and will continue to do so. They are a great way to expand an existing bloodline. <3 For me though, with work and time constraints, putting them on the exchange for everyone is easier. ;) Not only that, but I like to think that it gives people the chance to adopt a foal from a stable that has the same advantages as a foal bred for private sale, that might not otherwise get the chance to have one.
The Rule: If you decide to breed one of my horses/unicorns and upload the resulting foal or horse (or grandfoal, greatgrandfoal, ect) to the exchange please include credit to me or my stable somewhere. Either- in the name or in the in-game/uploaded description - either NHR or North Haven or Snow Hawk Stables or where you got the sire/dam or the original name of the sire/dam. Any of those would work!
I've never had an issue, but then again I don't go looking for them, and I hope that people have been respectful thus far and will continue to be so.
Thank you so much for downloading my babies! I'm so happy that other people get to enjoy these creations that sometimes take anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour to create. :D And if you do breed any of them, feel free to send me links or screenies, cos I'd love to see them! :)
Much love,
Marcie at North Haven
